On September 30, 2025, Imboni Generation led a transformative anti-drug awareness campaign in Rutare Sector, Gicumbi District, in partnership with the Tumenye Amategeko Yacu Initiative. The session focused on educating youth about the dangers of drug abuse and the legal consequences guided by national laws Nº71/2024 and Nº59/2008 related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
The campaign created a safe space for young people to openly discuss challenges, ask questions, and gain clarity on critical issues affecting their future. Participants developed a deeper understanding of the risks associated with drug use and the importance of making responsible life choices.
This initiative marked a turning point for many youth, inspiring a mindset shift toward discipline, awareness, and self-leadership. Imboni Generation continues to lead efforts in building a drug-free, informed, and empowered generation across Rwanda.
